Dog walking

- Socialisation Walks: Perfect for if you’re nervous about introducing your pooch to other dogs, Paxton Paws offers socialisation walks where your dog will be paired with a trusted dog that we know gets on well with all other dogs (typically my son’s wonderful Golden Retriever). This is a great way to get your dog socialised without the stress of meeting random dogs with unknown temperaments. Pet check-ins (puppies, cats, guinea pigs, etc.)
For those times when you can’t be there, I offer in-home visits to spend time with your pet(s), provide meals, refresh water, and of course, give them some much-needed affection. Whether it’s for a puppy, cat, guinea pigs, rabbits, or even a reptile, I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable and cared for.

Professional pet photography
My son, Ryan, offers professional pet photography using a mobile studio with lighting and backdrops. Usually £200 for a two hour session, but just £150 for Paxton Paws customers! The package includes two hours of photo shoot, plus the images professionally edited and digitally delivered, copyright-free!
A Pawsonal Touch:
At Paxton Paws, it’s mostly me—Sandie! But for added peace of mind, I’m also supported by my son, Ryan, and my daughter-in-law, Jo. Pet pawrents to two cats (including a fabulous Maine Coon) and a Golden Retriever, Ryan and Jo can help with dog walks and visits when you need them if I’m already booked up. Either way, you’ll always know who is looking after your dog or cat and you can get to meet us first. We take the time to get to know each pet personally, building a bond of trust and affection. Your pet isn’t just another client; they’re a new friend!

🐾 Puppy Diaries: Rufus’ Big Adventures 🐾
It’s been a very busy few weeks since little Rufus joined the Paxton Paws family! Luckily, our chief of socialisation Walter has been by his side every step of the way — showing him the ropes, boosting his confidence, and becoming his new best pal. 💛
Socialisation is such an important part of puppyhood — getting out, meeting new friends, and experiencing the big wide world. 🌎
Rufus has already checked in with Forrest, the gorgeous silver tabby 🐱 (and learned that cats are definitely not the same as dogs!). He’s also enjoyed a couple of puppycinos ☕🐶 — soaking up all the cuddles and attention from new people along the way.
Just a couple more weeks until he can officially join the big walks — and we cannot wait! 🐾💨

What a week it’s been with the gang! 💛
✨ The Spaniel Squad – Fudgy, Lyra, Shelby & Harry – had plenty of adventures, with Walter the golden keeping spirits high (and tails wagging!).
✨ Nova joined Walter and Fudgy for some fun too – what a trio!
✨ Dixie introduced us all to her brand new puppy sister Darby – welcome to the gang, little one! 🐶💕
✨ Dolly the fabulous Frenchie has been strutting her stuff on her on-lead walks, full of sass and smiles.
✨ Rufus has been busy with lots of socialisation – with Walter playing the perfect buddy.
✨ We had some lovely check-ins this week too – creamy Milo and black Milo, both absolute stars! 🌟

🐾 Welcome to the Pack, Rufus! 🐾
Everyone, meet Rufus – our gorgeous fox red Labrador! ❤️ At just 9 weeks old, this little bundle of joy has already filled the house with love (and plenty of puppy cuddles 🐶). We knew the house was far too quiet… and Rufus has brought it back to life!
Of course, his first mission was to meet Walter – our socialisation specialist. These two are already shaping up to be best buddies in the making and we can’t wait to see their friendship grow.

The Spaniel gang – Shelby, Fudgy, Lyra & Harry – were joined by resident golden boy Walter. Lyra was so happy to be back with Walter, chasing him everywhere!
We also had a gorgeous reunion with Nova & Walter – these two are such a perfect match when it comes to energy levels! ⚡️🐕⚡️
Dolly the Frenchie was her usual perfect little lady 💕 and Jack was the ever-faithful companion 🐾.
And finally… a very special boy has just started his first adventures with us 🥹❤️ – you’ll be hearing much more about him soon!
